Some ups, some downs, some colds

Well, today the wind blows from a direction that must include a snowy landscape.
So far we have not experienced the icy winds of Burnie this winter, except for today. Still, it is not as cold, but unwelcome anyway.

The news...
For some time we have had our caravan up at Warragul where a bloke has been messing about, but finally we got it back on Friday, a lock was replaced, a window and a light cover that was smashed transporting it to him. It cost a bit, and when we got home the glass is cracked already. :-(
The bloke messed us around so much that we will not try to take it back, so it is here at last.
But......
There has been some smoke from the Prado for a time, we thought it was injectors, but it has a cracked head, and injector issues. So the bill will be somewhere around $2500.

We have also been looking at homes here, as we pay a considerable rent anyway, so we may as well make it count.
We will sign for one tomorrow. That is the one in this post.
The internet address for the place, so you can have a look is; http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-vic-leongatha-105768897

It is a flat block and a large house.
There are a few things that need repairing, but we can do them ourselves.

We will consider what to do with the Burnie house, at the moment, it stays.

Judith has been very unwell. Jessie also, but less.
Sam and Len are robust!

Sam kicked another goal on Saturday, so that made his day (goals are VERY rare in his team!).
Jessie is in art classes, and attending a holiday club, the Scripture Union 'Shipshapes' programme.

So that is the news.
Blessings to all.

Don't forget to stay in touch...PLEASE!

Hi Guys,
Sounds like you are really settling in and putting down roots. Didn't expect you to buy a house, thought the call of the north might get the better of you with the cold weather, it has me, not so much Grant. Hope Judith's illness is only minor, Jess too. Hope you robust men are helping out while the women are sick!!! Well done Sam on your goal.
We have just arrived back from Greece. Had a great time, weather brilliant. Now waiting on God for the future. Take care and God bless G&R

Just looked at your new home. Looks lovely. You have certainly got a lot for your money with all the large rooms, ensuite and WIR etc.Look forward to seeing it in person some time. G&R

Thanks, nice to hear that the trip was good. I bet it was GREAT and you don't want to tell me in case I get envious.

Sad news.... the Prado has more issues, and so the motor is still out, up to $5000 or more so far :-(

Len has dry cough, but is NOT NOT NOT getting what Judith had.
She is getting there now, only a little coughing after what was a long 3 weeks of it.
Not as cold here as Tas, so far, but still too cold anyway. Miss teh Northern Dry.
Let us know what your next steps are. What happened to Woolaning?

Hi Clark Family, We are booked to go back to Darwin on 18th August, one of those cattle class flights! The plan is to catch up with Chris and Jeff before we head to Woolaning for our tryout. Haven't arranged it with them yet still in the emailing stage to see if they will be in Darwin or Katherine. Haven't booked for the return flight going to wait and see how things go. Had settled into Tassie life but now we have made the move I'm getting excited about the thought of working up there again. Always some bill to pay, thank the Lord for our jobs! Talk soon G&R
